1. Install a good ANTIVIRUS  SOFTWARE and scan your computer atleast once in a weak
2. Scan a pen drive(any flash drve) before usingf it and also desable autoplay of these drives
3. Stay away from SPAM MAILS on your mail id
4. Use internet safely by using a good ANTISPYWARE/ANTIMALWARE TOOL
5. Don't click on POP-UP windows while browsing or disable pop-up windows in your browser
